The Wilson Lake Area Association was formed in 1968 to promote the newly built Wilson Lake.

 Today more than 125 active members continue to promote the lake with yearly fundraisers, events and contests.

    The beautiful Post Rock Scenic Byway winds around Wilson Lake and across the dam linking Interstate 70 to Kansas Highway K-18.
